Revelation Roasters is a small-batch speciality coffee roastery in Cornwall. The business was set up by Zian Mackay, with a vision to supply delicious, accessible speciality coffee alongside outstanding support.

The Journey 

Zian’s journey with coffee started small when he bought his first Aeropress to enjoy better coffee whilst camping. Since then, he’s become fully immersed in the world of coffee, becoming a trained barista and opening his own speciality coffee shop with his family in Falmouth, Haven Coffee Box. 

With a pre-existing love of both creative cooking and detailed processes, stepping into coffee roasting seemed like the obvious next step! After much dedicated time learning the craft, it was a joy to be able to professionally launch Revelation Roasters.

Accessible To All 

Zian is keen to make speciality coffee accessible, his products reflect this, showcasing chocolate and caramel notes that even the least adventurous coffee drinker will find delicious! Revelation Roaster’s flagship ‘Cornerstone’ coffee has been through many rounds of tweaking and tasting to create a result he is truly proud of. 

Sustainability and Support

Ethical, carefully sourced beans are a non-negotiable at Revelation Roasters. Zian’s process for choosing his own green bean suppliers involves ensuring they meet high, sustainable standards. 

Zian’s been fortunate to be supported by some amazing people as he’s progressed in his coffee adventure. As such, one of his priorities is paying forward the favour and offering a helping hand to his clients. It’s an honour to support others in achieving their vision.

Charities and Churches

Zian is passionate about supporting organisations that build community and support those in need. As such, he’s excited to be able to offer his services as a charity and church coffee supplier, helping teams take hospitality and welcome to the next level through affordable wholesale speciality coffee. To this end, he has specifically tested Cornerstone in large percolators often used at church and charity events and gatherings and is extremely pleased with the results.
